[origin: WO2006077314A1] The modular building element for constructing a structure is characterized in that it comprises: at least one front round billet (3) and one rear round billet (4) extending in an essentially parallel manner while being interspaced; at least two seated round billets (6) each supported by the top of the front round billet (3) and of the rear round billet (4) while extending in an interspaced manner; assembly means (8) between each seated round billet (6) and each of the front round billets (3) and rear round billets (4), and; abutment means (10) for a rear round billet of a stacked similar building element that has just been placed upon the seated round billets, the abutment means (10) blocking the similar building element in the direction going from the rear round billet to the front round billet.
