The system has a paper machine to release/circulate a paper web with a production speed, and a rolling cutter for dividing the paper web into partial webs and winding to a partial web roll, where the rolling cutter has a winding station for winding the paper web. The winding station (11) has a high speed-flying-splice device (58), which connects the end of the paper web (10) of a master role (59) with beginning of the paper web of a new master role (56) during eighty percentage of the production speed of the paper machine.

Es wird eine Anlage (100) zur Herstellung von Papier angegeben mit einer Papiermaschine (80), die eine Papierbahn (10) mit einer Produktionsgeschwindigkeit ausgibt, und einem Rollenschneider (1), der die Papierbahn (10) in Teilbahnen unterteilt und zu Teilbahnrollenen aufwickelt, wobei der Rollenschneider (1) eine Abwikkelstation (11) zum Abwickeln der Papierbahn (10) von einer Mutterrolle (53, 56) aufweist. Man möchte Papier auf kostengünstige Weise versandfertig machen können. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß die Abwickelstation (11) eine Hochgeschwindigkeits-Flying-Splice-Einrichtung (58) aufweist, die bei mindestens 80% der Produktionsgeschwindigeit das Ende der Papierbahn (10) einer abgelaufenen Mutterrolle (53) mit dem Anfang der Papierbahn (10') einer neuen Mutterrolle (56) verbindet.
