Abstract (en)
The treatment process involves guiding the web from the filters to a pressing section where it is dehydrated, dried and has glue applied to it. The web is pre-calendered before the glue is applied. The dehydration may be done in a single pressing. The web may be smoothed to a roughness of 400-800 Bendt units during pre-calendering.

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Behandeln einer Bahn (2) aus Faserstoff und eine entsprechende Vorrichtung offenbart, wobei die Bahn (2) von einer Siebpartie (3) in eine Pressenpartie (7) geleitet und dort entwässert und danach getrocknet und mit einem Leimauftrag versehen wird. Man möchte die mechanischen Eigenschaften der Bahn mit geringem Aufwand an vorbestimmte Anforderungen anpassen. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß die Bahn (2) vor dem Auftragen des Leimes vorkalandriert wird.
