Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1843038A1] The injector has two cylindrical housings (2, 5), which are axially and superimposedly arranged, and a nozzle clamping nut (4). Two adjacent front surfaces of the housings are formed partly as sealing surfaces (8a, 8b) for a high pressure chamber filled with a fuel. The front surfaces are firmly compressed together by the clamping nut. The sealing surfaces lying on one another are conically formed with a preset cone angle (A), or convex/concave sealing surfaces lie on one another with a preset radius or conical/convex sealing surfaces are superimposed with each other.
