Abstract (en)
A sound-proofing device applicable to an air passage conduit (2) comprises a compact / single block sound-absorbing body (3), defining a passage for air and able to be inserted inside the conduit (2); the body (3) defines at least one baffle (5) facing the interior of said passage. An apparatus for sound-proofing an indoor space, communicating with the exterior through an air passage conduit (2) situated inside a vertical wall (6), comprises a sound-proofing device (1) inserted within the conduit (2), the sound-proofing device (1) having longitudinal development along an axis lying in a plane defined by said wall (6). In the prior art, devices for sound-proofing air passage conduits have a structure comprising a pair of coaxial metal shields, defining within them a hollow space containing sound-absorbing material in crumbled form.
