The device has a cover part (7) swiveled backwards about a horizontal swivel axle (7.1) that is arranged behind a passage opening (6.2), while a cover part (8) is swiveled about a horizontal swivel axle (8.1) that is arranged before the passage opening (6.2). A bottom side of the cover part (7) is provided with a bolster material (7.3), while the cover part (8) is provided with a bolster material (8.3) at an edge that faces the cover part (7) in a closed condition.

Eine Schutzeinrichtung an einer Ein-/Ausstiegsluke eines Kampffahrzeugs, insbesondere eines Kampfpanzers, die einen Lukendeckel aufweist, welcher oberhalb des oberen Randes einer Lukenöffnung (2) angeordnet und zum Öffnen und Schließen parallel zur Ebene der Lukenöffnung bewegbar ist. Im Bereich oberhalb der Luke (3) ist ein Aufsatzstück (6) angeordnet mit einer Durchstiegsöffnung (6.2), welche durch zwei in entgegengesetzten Richtungen nach außen aufschwenkbare, im geschlossenen Zustand mit ihren einander zugewandten Rändern aneinander angrenzende Deckelteile (7,8) verschließbar ist. Ein Deckelteil (7) ist um eine horizontale erste Schwenkachse (7.1) nach hinten verschwenkbar, während ein zweiter Deckelteil (8) um eine horizontale zweite Schwenkachse (8.1) nach vorne verschwenkbar ist.
