[origin: WO2006081966A1] The invention relates to an axial piston compressor, in particular for motor vehicle air-conditioning systems, comprising an annular-shaped pivotable disk (2), whereby the inclination thereof can be adjusted in relation to the drive shaft (1), can be rotationally driven by the drive shaft (1), and is connected in an articulated manner to at least one support element (6) which is arranged at a distance from the drive shaft (1) and which rotates therewith. The pistons comprise, respectively, an articulated arrangement whereon the pivotable disk (2) can slide. The support element (6) is arranged on the radial external end of a force transmitting element (7) which rotates with the drive shaft (1) and is arranged in a fixed manner in the radial direction thereof. The force transmitting element (7) is rotationally mounted in the drive shaft (1) about the longitudinal axis thereof.
