[origin: WO2006083215A1] The invention refers to a method for cleaning a hydraulic valve (20-25) in that binding, such as by adhering dirt, of a valve is detected, that a control member (19) is activated for valve cleaning, that a predetermined control signal is sent to the influencing apparatus (32) of said valve (20-25) and that pulses with predetermined amplitude are generated in at least one piston and cylinder unit (14-17) connected to the said valve to thereby create a varying flow through the said valve. The invention also refers to a device for execution of the said method, which device has a control member that can influence the said influencing apparatus either manually or automatically. The method and device according to the invention are preferably applied for an agricultural machine.
