Said tray (1) comprises a plurality of compartments (4) that are disposed in a number of rows and separated from each other by partitions (3), and can be swiveled from an upright position, in which the upper edges of the partitions (3) run horizontally, a discharge position, in which the openings of the compartments (4) point downward, and a tilted position in which a defined amount of water filled into a row of the tray (1, 1', 1'') partially flows over the upper edges of the partitions (3) between the compartments (4) of the row while once the tray is swiveled back to the upright position, the partitions (3) separate the partial quantities of water distributed to the compartments from each other.
