[origin: WO2006082162A1] The invention relates to a method for selecting and displaying travel data, wherein information, particularly images and texts, is read out from a catalogue proposing travel deals for accommodation in a specific destination. The data is digitized and stored in a data set together with data containing information on the origin of said data. Each data set is marked with an identification code. Data sets are created for a plurality of hotels. One or several selection criteria are then interrogated. A characterizing overview part of the data sets is displayed in a hit list. A hit can be selected and the full data set is displayed together with images and texts. A set of parameters clearly identifying the displayed data set is created for the selected hits. A data bank search is then triggered with the aid of a booking machine and a hit list of bookable trips is drawn up. The hit list is displayed on the same surface as the full set of data.
