A pneumatically driven spray pistol (1) has a pistol housing (2) for holding the drive and a grip-handle (3) projecting from the housing (2), the latter having an air-feed channel (21) through which flows pressurized air for carrying out atomization to an atomizing nozzle (4). The surfaces (22) of the air-feed channel (21) wetted by the pressurized air and/or the atomizing nozzle (4) and/or an air cap (15) are provided with a partly or completely structured surface in which are recesses (51) and/or elevations (52).

Bei einer pneumatisch antreibbaren Spritzpistote (1), deren Gehäuse (2) einen Luftführurigskanal (21) aufweist, sind die von der strömenden Druckluft beaufschlägten Flächen (22) des Luftführungskanais (21) und/oder einer Zerstäuberdüse (4) und/oder einer Luftkappe (15) ganz oder teilsweise mit einer strukturierten Oberfläche versehen, indem in diese Vertiefungen (51) eingearbeitet sind. Durch diese Ausgestaltung wird bei gleichem Energieaufwand wie bei glatten Berührungsflächen eine erhebliche Erhöhung der Fördergeschwindigkeit der Druckluft erzielt, so dass Fördermengen gesteigert werden können, ohne dass eines zusätzlichen Energieaufwandes bedarf.
