Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1844900A1] The tool (1) for smoothing wall surfaces, of natural stone or concrete, has a circular carrier plate (10) with at least one cutter (20). The cutters have the shape of a cylinder segment, with a segment angle of 20-60[deg], composed of a hard metal carrier body and an end section of polycrystalline diamond. The cutter is secured to the carrier plate so that the two radial edges (22a,22b) defining the end section form a working edge (23) projecting over the carrier plate.
