Abstract (en)
In a hoisting machine for an elevator, a support body has an annular frame portion. A rotary body rotatable about a central axis of the frame portion is supported by the frame portion. The rotary body has a sheave portion provided radially outward of the frame portion so as to surround the frame portion, an annular rotor portion provided radially inward of the frame portion, and a gap bridge portion for fixing the sheave portion and the rotor portion to each other while bypassing the frame portion. Amain rope is looped around an outer peripheral portion of the sheave portion. A motor for rotating the rotary body with respect to the frame portion is disposed radially inward of the sheave portion.
