[origin: EP1845544A2] The housing comprises two longitudinal walls (5) and two transverse walls (7a,7b). A retainer is provided for a label carrier (1), which comprises a name plate and a scanning unit (T) made of stainless steel. Two housing chambers (3a,3b) are provided, which are separated by a separating wall (4). The longitudinal side walls comprises a passage (60) for receiving a printed circuit board (20) in the area of the later housing chamber, which is assigned to the scanning unit, on which multiple switching contacts (21) are arranged.
