[origin: WO2006082349A1] The invention relates to a device for positioning a motor vehicle roof (3) on a body side panel (6), of the type comprising a support (2) which extends over the roof (3) and means for applying a pressure on the roof (3) in order to press the roof (3) against the body side panel (6). The invention is characterised in that the device comprises numerous press means (4) which are connected to the support (2) and which are independent of one another, such that different pressures can be applied at different points on the roof (3).
