Abstract (en)

[origin: DE102005061670A1] The method involves rotating a work piece (W) in a magnetic field of a direct current flowing coil arrangement having a super conducting coil, around a rotation axis, where the axis has an angle with a main axis of the magnetic field. The magnetic flux density (B) of the magnetic field penetrating the work piece is variably adjusted longitudinal to the rotation axis, where the density is adjusted by changing the angle. The flux density is produced using a magnetic short circuit (K) in a partial area of the magnetic field.
