[origin: EP1847389A2] The printing unit (1) of a rotary web-fed printing press, with a transfer cylinder (3) with two channels offset by 180 degrees in the circumferential direction to hold printing blankets, and with three printing blankets arranged next to each other in the longitudinal direction of the transfer cylinder, has two adjacent printing blankets fastened in one channel (5.1 or 5.2), and the third printing blanket fastened in the channel (5.2 or 5.1) which is offset by 180 degrees to it.
