Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1847972A1] The sensor has a sensor unit for outputting electronic motion capturing signals and optically combined with a lens unit (12) in an infrared sensitive manner, where the unit is housed in a sensor housing (10). A manually operated adjusting knob (22) is used for changing and/or adjusting a collection region of a maximum and/or minimum effective collection distance of the sensor. The knob causes a predetermined translocation of the sensor unit at the housing along a predetermined curved adjusting path.
