Abstract (en)
The method involves sealing a vacuum switching chamber close to a contact piece according to a chill casting manufacturing process, while a substance is melted in a crucible and is cast into a die (1). Bars (4) are attached in the die, where the die lies horizontally during casting under a vacuum atmosphere in a kiln and resulting composite material includes a material combination of copper and chromium. The die is separated and is opened for disconnecting the contact piece. An independent claim is also included for a contact piece for a vacuum switching chamber.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kontaktstückes, sowie Kontaktstücks für Nieder-, Mittel-, Hochspannungs- und Generatorschaltgeräte, gemäß Oberbegriff der Patentansprüche 1 und 11. Um hierbei ein Herstellverfahren für Kontaktstücke der gattungsgemäßen Art noch wirtschaftlicher zu gestalten, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass im Kokillenguss-Herstellungsprozess das Kontaktstück endkonturnah gegossen wird, indem zunächst der Werkstoff in einem Tiegel geschmolzen und anschließend in eine metallische Kokille gegossen wird, in welche zuvor Stege eingebracht werden, wobei die Stege Schlitze hinterlassen.
