Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1693045A1] The foil (7) exhibits a structured surface has a tensile strength of 40 Mpa and thickness of 0.05-1.6 mm; consists of silicone polymer and water-insoluble thermoplastic polymer; is laid out at the circumferences of the recesses (4, 5) on the form rollers (2, 3); is closed to continuous tape; and is led into the gap of oppositely rotating form rollers, which exhibit recesses on its surface, in which the foil is pressed for formation of the bag. The active agent containing melt (6) is led in between the foils and a bag is formed in the foil for admitting a portion of the melt. An independent claim is included for a device for the production of dosage forms.
