[origin: WO2006087469A1] The invention relates to a bearing device comprising two rings (10, 11) which can rotate in relation to each other, and at least one seal (13) which is fixed to one of the rings and provided with an active part (16) for co-operating with a sensor element for detecting a rotation parameter of the active part. The inventive device is characterised in that it comprises, at least on one side of the bearing, a groove (20) made in the external ring (10) and a groove (21) made in the internal ring (11). Said grooves are essentially coplanar, the seal (13) being mounted in one of the grooves of one of the rings and co-operating with at least part of the other groove of the other ring in order to ensure dynamic sealing.
