A capsule (1) containing ground coffee (C) for making a beverage in an extraction process envisaging the passing through the capsule itself by an extraction fluid, said capsule (1) comprising a cylindrical main body (2, 3, 4) defining an internal housing (10) for receiving the coffee (C), said main body (2, 3, 4) having, in correspondence of the lateral wall (4) of the housing (10), a plurality of longitudinal grooves (5) arranged in the direction of the fluid flow in the extraction process and apt to convey such a fluid through the capsule (1) itself (Figure 8).
