Abstract (en)
The circuit has a crank case and a pump housing (2`) and a thermostat valve (3) in a thermostat housing (3`). A cooling medium flow coming from a heat exchanger and/or from an internal combustion engine is fed to a conveying wheel (2``) of the cooling medium pump (2) with the thermostat valve in a temperature-dependant manner. The pump housing and the thermostat housing are mounted in the crank case, where the crank case has a cooling medium channel that connects the pump housing and the thermostat housing to guide the cooling medium.

Kühlmittelkreislauf für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einem Kurbelgehäuse (1), mit einer Kühlmittelpumpe (2) in einem Pumpengehäuse (2') und einem Thermostatventil (3) in einem Thermostatventilgehäuse (3'), wobei mit dem Thermostatventil (3) ein aus einem Wärmetauscher und/oder aus der Brennkraftmaschine kommender Kühlmittelstrom temperaturabhängig zu einem Förderrad (2, 2') der Kühlmittelpumpe (2) zuführbar ist, wobei das Pumpengehäuse (2') und das Thermostatventilgehäuse (3') an das Kurbelgehäuse (1) montierbar sind, wobei das Kurbelgehäuse (1) einen Kühlmittelkanal (4) aufweist, der das Pumpengehäuse (2') und das Thermostatventilgehäuse (3') Kühlmittel führend verbindet. Durch die vorgeschlagene Ausgestaltung wird eine sehr Platz sparende Kühlmittelpumpen- und Thermostatventilgehäuseanordnung realisiert.
