[origin: DE102006019705B3] The method involves filtering two measurands for producing time-discrete output values that are recordable in their time response by an exponential function, where the exponential function has a time constant that is different from another time constant. The output values are outputted, where the filtering of the measurands includes the calculation of the sum of one measurand and a weighted difference between the two measurands. The output values are formed by the sum of the measurands and the weighted difference. An independent claim is also included for a filter for a sensor system.
