[origin: WO2006087182A1] The invention relates to a wall work table comprising a worktop (20) and a separate extension plate (25) arranged therebehind which are mounted on two brackets (10) whose rear edges (11) are provided with hooks (12) for fixing to wall rails (13). The worktop (20) and extension plate (25) depth is dimensioned with regard to the depth of the brackets (10) in such a way that a space (26) for passing connecting cables or supply lines for devices placed on the worktop (20) is arranged behind the extension plate (25). Said extension plate is produced by folding a metal sheet (30) and is provided with downwardly projected edges which are engageable into grooves (15) on the top side of the brackets (10), thereby locking the extension plate (25) in such a way that it is prevented from moving.
