[origin: WO2006074761A1] An inventive chair comprises a base body (2) and at least two upholstered supporting parts (10, 12), which are arranged on the base body and serve to support a person using the chair. To this end, the supporting parts (10, 12) have a seating part (10). According to the invention, at least one electric motor (24) of an electric motor-driven adjusting device for displacing at least one of the supporting parts (10, 12) relative to the base body (2) and/or to another supporting part (10, 12) is integrated in the seating part (10) without projecting whereby the electric motor (24) does not extend beyond an outer periphery of the seating part (10).
