[origin: GB2423530A] A toilet seat assembly comprises a toilet seat, lid and fittings such that, in use, the seat and lid may be removably attached to a toilet pan by means of a lockable base clamp. Preferably, the clamp is attached to the pan and incorporates a plurality of shoulders which mate with a plurality of cams on the seat and lid. Unlike the conventional arrangement, this assembly provides for easy removal of the seat and lid e.g. for cleaning.
