[origin: WO2006087088A2] The invention relates to a transport system for container handling machines, in particular for bottle filing machines, comprising in-feed and out-feed star wheels arranged on support housings, defining a star wheel configuration in which the container transport paths associated with the machine are defined. Each support housing comprises at least one lateral entry interface, to which a joint end of a connector strut is detachably attached, the other joint end of which is either detachably connected to a connection interface of a further support housing or to a machine chassis, such that the star wheel configuration may be optionally and modularly varied.
