[origin: WO2006080875A1] A motor vehicle (1) comprising an engine (2) and a fuel system (3) for supplying the engine (2) with fuel is described. The fuel system (3) comprises a fuel tank (4), a fuel line (6) arranged between the fuel tank (4) and a feed line (5) connected to the engine (2), and a water separating filter (9) arranged on the fuel line (6) to separate water fro the fuel, whereby the water separating filter (9) comprises a drain (10) for water. The drain (10) is connected to the fuel tank (4) by a drain line (11) in order to lead water from the drain (10) to the fuel tank (4).
