[origin: WO2006120090A1] The invention relates to domestic appliance which comprises a first and a second housing (2, 4) that are juxtaposed and fastened to each other sidewall (10) to sidewall (16). A hinge (6, 8) hinging one housing to the other housing is fastened to respective edges of the sidewalls (10, 16) of the housings (2, 4) facing each other. A connecting element (18, 20) is fastened to the housings (2, 4) at a distance to said edge and blocks the freedom of motion of the hinge (6, 8).
