Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006084487A2] The invention relates to a vending machine with several superimposed goods trays (10) with delivery means (18, 102) for each goods tray (10), which delivers one goods item from the goods tray (10) on activation, with at least one transport device (20), driven by propulsion means (26, 28, 30, 32, 103), which transports the goods delivered by the delivery means (18) to a removal position by means of a removal trough (22). The vending machine comprises an electronic control and memory unit (101) for control of the transport device (20), in order to place the removal trough (22) in a set position in front of the activated goods tray (10), for taking an item of goods and then to place the same in the removal position for removal of the item of goods in the goods removal region (6). The electronic control and memory device (101) is embodied for determining and storing a blocking position, from which the removal trough (22) may not travel further towards the set position before reaching the set position.
