Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1854554A2] The method involves sieving bulk goods with a shaft axle sieve (1) into rough and smooth fractions and separating non-ferrous metals from the goods fractions with induction separators (2, 3) designed as belt conveyors. The smooth fraction from the sieve directly falls on a conveyor belt (21) of the separator (2) for the smooth fraction. The rough fraction is directly fed to a conveyor belt (31) of the separator (3). The smooth and rough fractions delivered from the non-ferrous metals are combined together or separately discharged. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for combined sieving and non-ferrous metal separation of bulk goods.
