Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1854602A1] The device has a base (9), a retaining unit (3), a blade (1) arranged transverse to the retaining unit and another blade (2). The latter blade arranged at the retaining unit is positioned at the end (4), which is to be trimmed, of the edge strip (8) arranged at the narrow side (52) of the furniture panel (5). The former blade is supported at the end, which is to be trimmed, of the edge strip and at the narrow side (51) of the furniture panel. The latter blade is arranged at narrow side, opposite the end of the strip edge of the furniture panel and is movably arranged by a medium (10) opposite the first blade so that the end, protruding to the furniture panel of the edge strip, is trimmed parallel to the narrow side.
