[origin: EP1854723A2] The device has cups (14) of a foil web (6) arranged in a predetermined pattern with a holding container (1). A shaped plate (4) is arranged downstream to the transport direction of the holding container, with retainers (12) arranged in the pattern and a transfer device (8) and many suction cups arranged in the pattern. In the shaped plate the pattern is formed in a multifold manner having a minimum offset of two adjacent patterns that are determined by the size of the retainers.
