Abstract (en)
A cladding element is employed as a facade material on a building. The cladding element is essentially a panel with a root zone and a slightly proud-standing flat zone (15). Each end of the panel has a profile that engages with a matching panel. The panel is extruded aluminum or glass.

Es wird ein Verkleidungselement (10) zur Erstellung einer Fassade (11) von Bauwerken (12) vorgeschlagen. Dabei weist ein im wesentlichen plattenförmiges Element (13) einen im Querschnitt wenigstens aus der plattenförmigen Ebene (16) des Elements (13) hervorstehenden Vorsprung (15) mit flächiger Oberfläche auf.
