[origin: EP1854992A1] The system has a housing (2) including an inner space with fuel and housing outlets (4, 6). A piezo actuator (8) is arranged in the inner space of the housing. The actuator includes a head plate (9) with head plate outlets (12, 13), and a piezo stack (11) is arranged between the head plate and a base plate. Contact devices (5, 7) are guided by the housing and head plate outlets, respectively. Sealing devices (17a, 17b) surround the contact devices in the area of the housing outlets and provide a sealing between the housing inner space and outer space with a certain outer space pressure. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an injection system for injecting fuel with a preset fuel pressure.
