[origin: US2008314217A1] A cutting tool for cutting a plate made of a reconstituted material, the tool comprising a base and a blade mounted on a support secured to the base and enabling the blade to be moved between an open position for receiving, between the support and the blade, a plate made of reconstituted material to be cut, and a closed position at the end of a cutting operation. The support includes a slot to receive the blade during the cutting process. The blade is flat and has a curved cutting edge. The tool also comprises a stop to maintain the plate on the support during the cutting process.
