[origin: DE102005008413B3] The device (1) is used in a system of water jet solidification of fleece material with a unit for single or multiple water jet cleaning of the nozzle strip and a connecting unit with an optical arrangement (2) for continuous automatic detection of the state of the nozzle holes, whereby the nozzle strip is subjected to a full or partial reclean on detection of blockage or fouling. An independent claim is also included for a method of cleaning and testing holes in a nozzle strip.
