[origin: WO2006089587A1] The invention relates to a method for correcting a track bed consisting in backfilling said track (8) in such a way that it is placed in provisionally theoretical position, in subsequently controllingly lowering said track in a final theoretical position in the frame of said track stabilisation by applying a vertically acting load to which vibrations are integrated. Gravel (19) is distributed by means of a rotatable sweeping brush (14) in order to obtain a desired homogenous ballasting of the track (8). The gravel (19) arranged in the slipper intermediary area is tamped by the action of the load and vibrations along different operations after the track stabilisation and after the sweeping brush (14) passage. Said final tamping of the gravel surface makes it possible to prevent gravel projections generated by high speeds of a train.
