[origin: WO2006092733A1] A method provides control of access in a communication system. The method includes providing an access route via at least one unlicensed radio spectrum access network and via at least one licensed radio spectrum access network. The method further includes receiving an access request from a cell belonging to one of the at least one unlicensed radio spectrum access network and the at least one licensed radio spectrum access network. The method further includes determining whether the access request is received from a cell belonging to the at least one unlicensed radio spectrum access network or the at least one licensed radio spectrum access network. The method further includes controlling the access based on a result of the step of determining. Furthermore, a network element, a computer program and a communication system are configured to execute the method.
