[origin: EP1857280A2] The press has an inline-color measuring system with an arrangement of sensor units e.g. color sensors (11, 12), where each sensor unit is attached to discrete light-sensitive areas of the arrangement. The arrangement of sensor units detects the measurement value in the discrete light-sensitive areas. A data processing unit determines a chromaticity coordinate in a color circle or in a color space from the measurement value detected at the measurement position, where the position is selected by the processing unit based on an adjusted filter.
