Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1857590A1] The switch has end and central regions extending over a section of length of three tracks of the switch. A sole (19) has a sleeper (7) for two of the tracks, which run out from the switch on one side of the switch. The sleeper follows in a direction to an end of the switch on a continuous longitudinal sleeper of the central region over a length of the sleeper (7) at different rigidities. The sleeper (7) has a truncated pre-head length, opposite to a side of the sleeper turning away from the two tracks, at one side of the sleeper facing the two tracks.
