The screed (2) has a shank (4) provided for swapping a part of the lower surface of the heat insulation. The other shank (6) is provided for swapping a part of the outer side of the heat insulation. An insertion area (8) is protruding away from the facing side of the other shank of the heat insulation which is determined to limit insertion in an insertion groove in the outer side of the heat insulation or which is so formed that it is inserted from the outer side of heat insulation into the material of the heat insulation. Putzleiste zur Anbringung an einer Wärmedämmung (16) eines Gebäudes (22) im Bereich des Übergangs zwischen deren Unterseite (18) und deren Außenseite (20), aufweisend: einen ersten Schenkel (4), der zum Überlagern mindestens eines Teils der Unterseite (18) der Wärmedämmung (16) bestimmt ist; einen zweiten Schenkel (6), der zum Überlagern eines Teils der Außenseite (20) der Wärmedämung (16) bestimmt ist; und einen Einsteckbereich (8), der von der der Wärmedämmung zugewandten Seite des zweiten Schenkels (6) wegragt und der - entweder zum engen Einstecken in eine Einstecknut (34) in der Außenseite (20) der Wärmedämmung (16) bestimmt ist, - oder derart ausgebildet ist, dass er von der Außenseite (20) der Wärmedämmung (16) her in das Material der Wärmedämmung (16) hinein einsteckbar ist.
