Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1857686A2] The unit (1) has a piston arranged at a piston rod (14) and movable inside a housing (2) along an exhausting direction (20). The piston divides a chamber into two partial housing chambers, which are turned towards respective housing ends. A fluid supply (26) discharges into one of the chambers for supplying the fluid into a housing chamber (6). A locking unit (30) is provided to automatically lock the unit (1), where the locking unit has a connecting unit (31) arranged at the rod and another connecting unit (32) working together with the unit (31).
