Abstract (en)
The bed (1) has a lighting system with a right lighting device (6) placed on a right edge (8) of a lower surface (4) of a support (2) of the bed. The device has a lighting unit with electroluminescent diodes on a plate. An electric supply unit supplies energy to the diodes, and includes a battery e.g. alkaline battery. A control unit controls the supply of energy to the diodes. The control unit has a presence sensor placed on the edge to detect the presence of a user in a detection zone. The control unit controls the supply of energy to the diodes when the user is detected in the zone.

Lit (1) comportant un système d'éclairage (6, 7), ledit système d'éclairage comportant : des moyens d'éclairage, disposés sous le sommier dudit lit, des moyens d'alimentation en énergie, aptes à alimenter en énergie lesdits moyens d'éclairage, et des moyens de commande, aptes à commander sélectivement l'alimentation des moyens d'éclairage par lesdits moyens d'alimentation en énergie, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens d'alimentation en énergie comportent une pile.
