Eine Leuchtreklamevorrichtung umfasst einen eine Sollumrissform, insbesondere Buchstabenform, aufweisenden, kastenartigen Leuchtkörper (1), der mit zumindest einer Begrenzungsfläche (3, 4) lichtdurchlässig ist, und eine im Leuchtkörper (1) angeordnete Lichtquelle, die durch mindestens einen Leuchteinsatz (6) gebildet ist Dieser umfasst einen aus lichtdurchlässigem Material bestehenden Träger (7) mit einer der Sollumrissformm des Leuchtkörpers (1) zumindest teilweise entsprechenden, demgegenüber verschmälerten Umrissform, und entlang des Trägers (7) aufgereihte, in Aufnahmen (10) darin sitzende Leuchtdioden (9) zur gleichmäßigen Ausleuchtung der lichtdurchlässigen Begrenzungsfläche (3, 4).
