Abstract (en)
The system has a modifiable signal processing device between a microphone (11) and a handset. A feedback path from the microphone to the handset produces corresponding resonance characteristics of the system dependent on adjustment of the signal processing device. An analysis device analyses the resonance characteristics dependent on modification of the signal processing device, and determines feedback volume, which represents a size for feedback, from a result of the analysis. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting a feedback in a digital hearing system.

Rückkopplungen einer Hörvorrichtung sollen zuverlässiger erkannt werden. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, dass die Hörvorrichtung (10) eine Analyseeinrichtung (19, 20) zum Analysieren des Resonanzverhaltens des Gesamtsystems in Abhängigkeit von einer Modifikation der Signalverarbeitungseinrichtung (14, 151, 152, 15N, 16) und zum Bestimmen einer Rückkopplungsgröße, die ein Maß für die Rückkopplung darstellt, aus dem Analyseergebnis aufweist. Anhand der Rückkopplungsgröße kann dann beispielsweise ein adaptives Kompensationsfilter (17) zur Kompensation der Rückkopplung in seiner Schrittweite gesteuert werden.
