[origin: WO2006077033A1] The invention relates to an impulse centrifuge (1) for cleaning the lubricating oil of an internal combustion engine. Said centrifuge comprises a housing (10) having a cover (14), and a rotor (2) having recoil nozzles (34) and a dirt collecting area (4'). A piece of the rotor (2) holding the deposited dirt can be removed from the housing (10) and the rotor (2) is configured from interlinked elements. The inventive centrifuge is characterized in that the rotor (2) is constituted of three main components (21, 22, 23), namely an inner piece (21), a top piece (22) and a bottom piece (23); the top piece (22) and the lower piece (23) are interlinked die-cast or pressure-cast elements that are produced from incinerable plastic or light metal material and configure the piece of the rotor (2) that can be removed from the housing (10); the bottom piece (23) is annular, axially delimits the lower section of the dirt collecting piece (4) and comprises the recoil nozzles (34) and at least one nozzle channel (33) leading towards the recoil nozzles (34); and the removable piece of the rotor (2) configured by the top piece (22) and the bottom piece (23) is axially put on the inner piece (21) in a rotationally fixed manner sufficient to transmit the required torques and can be axially drawn of therefrom.
