[origin: US2008283484A1] Packaging container, especially can-like packaging container ( 10 ) having a cylinder-like or tube-like container body ( 11 ) produced from composite foil, a lid arrangement ( 12 ), and also a base closure, especially a standing base ( 13 ). The lid arrangement ( 12 ) comprises a relatively rigid, that is, dimensionally stable, annular collar ( 16 ), which is fixed on, especially sealed to, the circumferential rim ( 14 ) of the container body ( 11 ) and which marks the boundary of a container opening ( 15 ), as well as a cover foil ( 18 ), which extends over the container opening ( 15 ) and is sealed to the rim ( 17 ) thereof.
