[origin: EP1859843A1] The assembly (1) has an adapter (60) that connects an interface (3) and a light footwear retaining device (5). The adapter has a support face (61) that is mechanically compatible with a reception face (25) of the interface, and a reception face (62) that is mechanically compatible with a support face (46) of the device (5). The faces (61, 62) are opposed with respect to each other. The face (61) has a longitudinal slot (70) that is delimited transversally by an inner edge (71), which is opposite to an inner edge (72).
